2025 has been a year marked by growth, love, and deep connection for El Camino Seguro. What began with two women gathering for the women’s group has grown into a vibrant community, now often welcoming seven women each week and over 30 members overall. Our Latino recovery family continues to flourish, celebrating milestones big and small. This year’s highlights include our annual rafting trip, the local rodeo, and the inspiring story of one of our members who has maintained sobriety, rebuilt trust with his loved ones, and now gets to enjoy overnight visits with his children.

I am a grateful recovering addict who is blessed to have life experiences of not only addiction but prison, foster care, and the ability to have compassion for those who are still struggling. I believe the difference we can make in each other’s lives is by being the best version of ourselves to those we serve, love, and support. My recovery is an absolute reflection of who I am as a person and what I can offer. I strive to lead by example and make a lasting impression on everyone I encounter in one form or another.
